Got side tracked a couple times during production, and it ended up taking a lot longer to get done... Sorry bout that :/

Turns out, making a montage wasn't as simple as I had originally thought! And that my usual "winging it/making it up as I go" type of approach in terms of scene direction and composition simply wasn't gonna cut it.

And so I took a few days just planning out the direction of the next three WiPs in advance. Figuring out all the key poses, camera placements, transitions... all that good stuff.

Which is something that I don't usually do, since making a concrete plan of the scenes limits flexibility and the ability to just do whatever the heck I want at any given scene, at any given moment. But alas, I learned that a good montage requires a solid roadmap from start to finish. Otherwise each progressive scene may end up feeling disjointed/unnatural :/

Hopefully at least, that would make the next couple WiPs be faster to produce, now that I've done some prep in advance... That is ofc I don't get distracted and add more positions like I did on this one (ᵕ,—ᴗ—,)

I had originally planned on only doing two positions for this wip. However, in the middle of animating the second one, I found this gorgeous art by Miazi that was strikingly similar to what I was working on at the moment... Sooo I decided to include it in the animation!... Aaand now It got delayed even more (-‿-")

Really liked how it turned out tho!.. I thought that the reverse pile driver scene was lacking a lil bit of boom-shaka-laka, and Miazi's position added just that extra level of spice it needed :3

On another note, I finally got the voice over re-do's from Lumine's VA last week! Took quite a while, as she had some family health emergency that she needed to attend to for about a month. Everything ended up going well as I heard tho so their doing just fine thankfully :3

The SFX also arrived a while back which sounded pretty noice and squishy! Just the way I like it :3... Tho it does still needs some polishing on some parts. So I'll personally be adding some foley sounds and some extra squishes and plaps on top of it. Then once I'm done, I'll show my fixes to the sound guy so that he'll know how I like my stuff done next time!

We're still in the figuring out phase and are still working on our workflow right now, but it's defo a good practice to have before tackling on this big boi full length animation :3

With that in mind, I'll prolly be spending the next... maybe five days? doing sound stuff. And then right back into making the next WiP!
