August there

For a monthly post this is pretty late but I have a good chunk of stuff I want to talk about so I figured I'd post it all, or almost all, here.

I'll divi this up into talking about what's coming up during the rest of this month (the juicy stuff), and then I'll go a bit into rant mode. So those that are mostly about the downloads can skip my ramblings.

Coming up next in August:

After writing this I'm posting not one, two, three, but four outfit previews next.
Why? Even I'm not sure, when I needed a break from an outfit I started the next one in the pipeline and this is what happened... o_o'
There's something from tfs08933 which I still need to fix, and MRLocolow's is nearly done, then there's a poll outfit, and something else I really wanted to make tests on at the time.
So, during the following week its gonna be raining releases.

Tomorrow or the day after I'll post a new poll after going through my list of favorites to see what I should add since there's only a couple of old entries remaining from the last poll.
Then as I release these four outfits I'll finally start working on the website. So for August I'll probably only do another outfit I promised the new Star-Lord patron and maybe something else for tfs08933 if he comes up with another request. Hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone.
By this point I'm really seeing the need of preparing such things as bundle downloads so you guys don't have to go through all these outfit posts individually. And I need the website up and running for that.

A big thank you and some ranting:

Well, as plenty of hobbyist patreons do, I started this hoping to grasp at a chance to look deeper and get more time for something I'm interested in. And I must thank every single one of you for helping thus far, specially now that thanks to you I feel I've got a nice grip on that rope of chance.
This goes to patrons, current and old, those that posts characters and scenes using what I've shared and those that simply talk about them, whether good or bad.
You all have my gratitude! And I am ready to attempt to grasp into the hope that I'll bring you bigger things in the future, wether here or in a future game title. Honestly, besides Illusion titles I'm itching for that next Elder Scrolls (gotta be real patient on this one). I don't want to join late this time.

Now, I should also give you an idea of where these donations have been going. Besides monthly bills, which is basically me exchanging work time for modding time, I've gotten an SSD and some HDDs to wort out my lack of space (the HDDs were kind of hand me downs, but, meh, they work). If you think some of my releases are too big in size you should see my modding folders. So, that's one concern off the list.

Then there was the website hosting, already paid for but I really need that thing up and working soon to justify it. And now I'm currently saving up for a new GPU, which I might be able to get next month depending on how this and my work clients turn out this month.
Although GPU prices have finally started going down its not like I didn't want to wait a bit more, buuuuut, last time I ran a game while forgetting to set the GPU underclock after a power failure the temps were going 93 celsius (200 fahrenheit) at 100% fans and I panicked quite a bit. Clean fans, new thermal paste, the card is simply dying out on me, demanding for lower underclocks as time goes by.
It worked good, well, ok, while it lasted. But I really want it off and away from the other, newer, components.

After that I'd need to replace this cheap PSU and my system would be good and stable. Then I'll get myself some glasses, which you'd think takes priority, but since I only reaaally need them to see from afar... Yeah, I just want my work station done already before I concern myself from needing to take a few more steps before I can read something. One thing at a time.

Anyways, no one really asked for it but I wanted to give you an idea of where the money has and will be going towards. Still, until now its mostly been going into necessity bills, but as you can see you have been, and will, help me with modding as well. Later on I'm hoping to spend more of it on 3D assets than I have.
