After that last update, we think it's better and easier on everybody if we try to put less stuff into more updates - easier for us to make the posts, easier for you to read, and nobody has to wait as long! With that in mind...

Our modeler Matteo has been hard at work on various elements of the ship, now moving on to cowl vents. He also made new benches which are far more detailed than the old ones.
For the vents, Matteo created them according to various measurements, and worked out a nice solution for the gratings that were attached for deck-adjacent cowls.

But one of the coolest new developments is that we have a new modeler on board, Daniel! Daniel's adept at sculpting, a 3D modeling skill that has largely been difficult to find for THG. Naturally, the first thing he did was sculpt the details at the bases of Matteo's bench legs. The possibilities from here are vast...

Kyle continues putting some polish on the yard for the Alpha. Currently, the Cabinet Shop is getting some upgrades in preparation for its use as a display space for the many furnishings on the ship. Also, see the slideshow above for a few extra Alpha images showing the improved Platers' Shed!

Our resident renaissance man, Gio, has continued to do his usual thing of modeling literally everything related to the Olympic Class, and of course we love to show it off. Here, he's done a fun rendering of Olympic's Dining Saloon during her service as a troop transport. To be clear, this is NOT for our ongoing projects, it's Gio's own work. Once again, go check out his new 'Gram at: https://www.instagram.com/olympic_class_interiors_by_gio/
Things have definitely been more energetic for the last few months for our team! Between the larger number of new modelers and Alpha development (as well as other things we can't talk about yet), it's an exciting time for us, and we want to share as much of that as possible with the rest of you!
