I got out on the 9th this month with an ever-worsening vehement disdain for the machine (as you put it), anxiety, even worse depression, and a dire need for new left knee/ankle joints. On the plus side, I have a handful of lifelong friends. It feels good to be my own person again.

2025-11-14 20:47:21 +0000 UTCThe sad part is that if you refuse being drafted, it’s a felony. Which will ruin your life just as badly because it’s so damn hard to recover from that. Five years in prison and a 250,000 fine. It’s rare people win those court cases too. I hate the idea of being drafted. I know I wouldn’t be able to take a life even if it’s to save my own so yeah… not fair.
