Telly Addicts has been on the to-do list for years, but I reckon all the clips from TV shows will make it a copyright minefield. Plenty to dig into though; the weird butler, the fact my mum to this day still refers to any remote control as a hoofer doofer. Buchanan is indeed a goldmine, and I almost did It's a Mystery for Halloween last year. How 2 meets Arthur C. Clarke. Maybe this year.

Don't tell anyone but I feel safe to say it here, like I'm at a support group...I've been watching old episodes of Champion Telly Addicts... so of course, I have to ask...have you done a video about Telly Addicts yet, Stuart? One of the main things that struck me is how I took for granted when I was a kid, the "being shrunken to the size of a Borrower for some reason" set design of TV shows like this and Art Attack inside a pencilcase/art set, they should've done it with more shows, like for Pets Win Prizes it could've been inside a dog's intestines or something? Also, speaking of Art Attack, Neil Buchanan is a rich vein for you, whacking kids around the head in Finders Keepers and in Art Attack teaching kids that if your local leisure centre is closed just break into the lockers to make a massive picture, or just waste loads and loads of salt...plus that show he did called somot like It's a Mystery? With typical 90s ufos, ghosts and spoon bending, oh and probably Spontaneous Combustion as for some reason I was petrified of that happening in the 90s...

Yes! I'm glad someone else picked up on that.

Noel's glee at the thought of that guy missing his child's birth to take part in a "mad" bit of telly really feels like a perfect encapsulation of the man.
