I know I'm commenting on this really late, but I've just remembered there was an accursed Super Mario All Stars VHS that comprised of Charles presenting a naff 20-minute promo for the Super NES, featuring awkward interviews with Nintendo Hotliners, Mean Machines staff, and Charles' trademark gurning. It's on YT, might be worth a look? On review, it's certainly as awful as I remember it being.

2025-02-26 21:00:12 +0000 UTCI always found it odd that Craig Charles could play and every man character like Dave Lister so convincingly, I guess I'm missing the point of what an actor is but he played that character with such humanity and in truth at that point in history Craig Charles was an arrogant narcissist, he seems to have a lot more humanity these days but I can't get past what a twat he was, from his irritating spittle infused high-pitched fake laugh to, well, the evidence offered so brilliantly in this video!
