Interesting. I am not really the demographic for starter sets, but I fondly remember my Basic D&D and AD&D onboarding experiences. Granted, it seems there was a lot less complexity and more flexibility in rules. However, I do appreciate onboarding from other games and they too are of variable quality. So it is kinda sad to see Hasbro being so weak on the experience. But, then again, are they really trying any more? I keep hearing about this One D&D and honestly I am not terribly enthused. Anyway, glad I don't need to recommend this product to people and will find my own ways onboard new players. Cheers Justin.
