These are very whimsical fights. Still brutal, but we get to see some bonding and real personal growth of some of the characters. It’s good to see how Farnese reflects on how she used to be and how she is now. I also think it’s interesting how the story is developing her character. I appreciate a fully fleshed out female character in a story as gruesome as this. It may reflect the changing age of the author or different interests. I don’t know. As a female reader, i appreciate it, and as a Berserk fan it adds to the story.
