The new squad? There is still a lot about Skull Knight that we are still learning about! He is a mystery many people love to theorize about. Yes, lots of information in this section. Some of the information has been given before, just not so comprehensively. It also does not contradict what has been said so far. Dragon slayer is itself a spiritual weapon. Godo really had nothing to do with it. Guts did all the work in using it in so many battles against apostles, spirits, monsters etc and he believes in it! That is what Schierke is seeing, the aura. I don’t think they explain that in the manga.
