You are absolutely right about these things happening and have happened in our past. We are our worst enemy. Zealots are dangerous. Miura seems to do a lot of research to write these chapters. The torture devices are pretty accurate. Yeah, men, women, children... they all suffer. So Farnese is enjoying what she is seeing. She is hearing the religious zealotry that Mozgus is spouting and rationalizing it. Of course Guts called her out on it before, so did the demon spirit. Is there any hope for her? Well, I guess we will have to keep reading! The lore of the Eclipse and the religion of the land being tied together is a good observation. The Holy Iron Chain Knights were at the lake afterwards as it was prophesied in their holy book. They were there to witness miracles and of course to catch the Hawk of Darkness. One thing I like about Berserk is you see characters from volumes back, Silat is one of them. Glad to see him again. We also get some new characters......
