The commander of the Holy Iron Chain Knights is named Farnese, her armor is very ornamental. You will see why. That is all I will tell you for now about her. Rickert did see Rosine at the camp site, it was a different group of bugs. I’m guessing she turns adults into bugs as protectors. The ones Guts was fighting were Jill’s kidnappers. Many people draw parallels between Griffith and Guts / Rosine and Jill in this arc. I can see that. Both Griffith and Rosine are manipulative in a way that gets them what they want. They tend to use others in pursuit of their goals and they both have ambiguous friendships with the one being manipulated. I think it’s an interesting idea that echoes the Golden Age arc and Guts’s past in a way that is not obvious. It’s a nice bridge to the rest of the story as you will see. Hmmm the. King...... I’m sure he’s around somewhere! One thing Miura does is pick up dangling threads as far as story and characters are concerned. Who knows, we may see some old faces again! It’s happened before. What was the Count doing? He was executing Heretics. They like to do that in Berserk.... national past time of Midland I think....
