We are just getting started! Yes, women and children have it the worst in the world of Berserk. Unfortunately art is a reflection of the world as a whole. Women and children have historically been miss treated in times of war and depending on the culture, their status in a society. Berserk tends to make it very obvious. Having said that, the men don’t get off easy either. There are consequences for killing. It may be years down the story line before the weight of it is felt. This is why I love this story, it is very human. Poor Guts! He is a magnet for small children and smaller elves.... there is a reason, he has loads of empathy for them. Of course he is not going to broadcast that! I’ve seen many analysis of these chapters and how Guts deals with his past. You did touch on it with the killing of all those kids..... also, Puck is in top form in this arc! I love Conviction arc Puck! 🧚♂️ Rickert actually did see Rosine before..... it was just before the eclipse. So this is actually the second time she has appeared in the story. I’m sure Rickert will never forget her!
