The names of the individual God Hand members are from science fiction books, I’ve read all but one. From the story collected in “This Immortal “ is “Call me Conrad “ by Roger Zelazny. I’ll be reading this story this yr. “Ubik” by Philip K Dick. Great story and I can see why Ubik has his name from this story! “Slan” by A E van Vogt. This is from the golden age of sci fi and has influenced many other stories as well. In the manga and Anime Toward the Tera, certain characters are heavily influenced by this story as well. I enjoyed the read. “Destination Void” by Frank Herbert is the last one. This story reminds me of bits and pieces of Dune. I can see in many of Herbert’s writings the glimpses of the Dune universe.
