2020-12-03 03:50:44 +0000 UTCGriffith forced himself on Casca against her will. Having said that, she did feel pity and just a bit of guilt thus putting an arm on Griffith. She is torn between a duty she feels that must be paid to Griffith and a new love for Guts. Duty wins out as she is a loyal soldier. This is how I interpret the scene. I think Griffith was being a bit manipulative there. He does have mixed feelings when he sees Guts and Casca together. I’d say he was jealous. I’d even say that he felt jealousy towards both of them! When Griffith got thrown into the lake, there was a sharp piece of drift wood that was sticking up out of the water. He was going to Impale himself on it to commit suicide. As far as “Never again with you....” you can put just about anything in there, be friends, be equals, look you in the eye? Who knows? And finally Puck! I like your ideas on the future! Going back to chapter 1, yes, this is the troupe Puck was talking about when he first met Guts! It was fate! It was also most likely Pucks fairy dust that healed Guts after the 100 man fight. Those two were fated to eventually meet! If there are two things Guts attracts, it’s Elves and kids! He is like a magnet for them!
