Ok! We are getting close 😱 yeah one of my favorite panels is the one of Guts dressing Griffith in his armor. It’s bitter sweet. You can tell how much Guts cares for Griffith in that moment as he cradles Griffith in front of him to fit his armor. I’m sure there are some guilty feelings mixed with love and friendship between the two of them. Might I add, this is how you write a love triangle! It’s subtle and complex, these characters share so much unspoken feelings for one another, the three of them can almost be thought of as being in the same relationship. Maybe it’s me, but Griffith still has a hold on both Casca and Guts while Guts and Casca have openly shown affection for one another. That is a triangle! Zodd, yes, he is a big boi! Part of it is perspective, the way the panel is drawn, Zodd is larger for the sake of the composition. Zodd is also special. He is one of the few Apostles that only has one face. Normally they have two. Hmmm There is God Hand lore, we will probably get into that soon............... believe it or not, that is still being written! The origins of the God Hand are mysterious and it’s mostly speculative. Only Miura knows for sure! As you read Berserk, the world building becomes intense! There are different realms and some of it is explained. Heck, Guts is still trying to figure it out with us! 😂 At least he knows that the Behilet is a Key to another dimension. Can’t wait for the next read through!
