We are STILL in the BVI’s and loving every minute of it! Our older son, Trevor came in last week to spend his spring break with us, we’ve been busy sailing from place to place, fishing, doing water sports and having tons of fun!
What’s great about the BVI’s is that you can sail in one direction and find total seclusion, enjoy a night with a beach fire. Then sail in a different direction and find a sweet little town with bars, shops and great food. There’s also great fishing here but we have yet to actually catch anything…
Tomorrow we have 2 couples our age and their little girl Rhys’ age coming in to stay with us for our last week in the BVI’s. These are our friends from landlubber life while living in Spotsylvania, Virginia. We’re so excited to have them! We’ve been close friends for many years, I know things will get a little crazy…Which is right up our alley. We’ve had the chance to explore these islands and have a few picked out for their trip in. The plan? We hope to hit these spots and enjoy the following:
Spanish Town anchorage: The Baths.
Prickly Pear anchorage: Beach Fire.
Cooper Island: Great beach bar for IPA beers.
Peter Island: Willy T!
Norman Island: Snorkel the Indians and lots of water toy fun.
Jost Van Dyke: Bubbly Pool and Beach Bars.
Can Garden Bay: Bars and Restaurants.
Scrub Island: Couples depart.
Once they depart we’ll be looking for a weather window to head to St Maarten! Of course that’s after traveling to St Thomas to pick up our brand new Parasailer! More on that later…
We will talk to you soon!

Karen will not be joining us this time since she has a little one on the way but the other two of my besties will be here for a week with me!!
