It's Official!
Added 2018-11-13 02:08:58 +0000 UTCToday we made it official and signed Calypso into our lives! We've been moving aboard and getting her set up for the past couple of weeks. During that time we've also completed a survey, insurance documents and finalizing the terms of our purchase. It's all finally done and we are the proud new owners of our 2013 Antares 44i!
We're so excited to show you around this bad girl and take you along with us as we depart for the Bahamas and Caribbean! The short term plan is to complete a few more "to-do" items this week, then visit family in Florida before heading to the airport to pick up Jessica and Trevor, some of our older Geckos. Then we'll be departing as soon as early next week to head south for our crossing!
We might bring an old friend along for the crossing to the Bahamas, which should be great! Right now we are planning on crossing to West End but that may change.
For those of you that love John, don't worry! He's our friend before Calypso's previous Captain. We already have plans for his arrival in Nassau for some scuba and sailing through the Exumas as we head south! Sweet deal...Sell a boat and still get to enjoy her from time to time!!
