Holy Smokes...Scuba in Maui is AMAZING!

Yesterday Jeremiah and I did our first Hawaii ocean dive! YES!! Not only was it our first time in Maui, it was also our very first drift dive along with a second wreck dive.

A drift dive is where you simply start in a location and drift with the current during your dive...Ending up in another location. We completed our 40 minute drift dive at a well known location called black rock. This was our favorite out of the two just because of the cliffs and small caves along the wall, it also had the best visibility of the two.

The second was apparently the best shore dive in Maui, it's known as the Mala Pier dive. It's a old pier that was destroyed in a hurricane, will probably be our most memorable out of the two. During our 45 minute wreck dive we encountered some white tip reef sharks, shrimp, tons of amazing fish and many gorgeous turtles which is a favorite of mine!

We currently have two more dives scheduled on Oahu and hope to schedule more if time permits. Jeremiah is using our new fancy dive lights and got some amazing footage, we can’t wait to share it with you!!
