We wanted to let you know that we'll be attending the Southern California Boat Show that is taking place from September 28th through the 1st of October. If you're able to attend and would like to meet up just let us know!
We're currently on the west coast of the U.S. to view some boats here, this is a great opportunity to see what the left coasts' sailing community is all about for us! We're excited!
We haven't decided what days we will be there but it will most likely be Saturday or Sunday...Or both of those days. Let us know and maybe we can arrange to say hi for a drink or something...We have daycare yay!
Are we definitely going to buy a boat on the west coast? Nope! We've started here, we're working our way up and down the coast to view every boat we can. We're staying in a furnished house as a "rally point" in the meantime to save money from hotels, it's been pretty crazy being in a house for the past week...Huge!! Not really, but it feels huge compared to the boat...We don't like it LOL.
We've also brought our sentimental items here from storage in case we find a boat...Let me tell you...This stuff was so important when we sold everything we had. Now that we've been away, it's mostly all junk! If you ever downsize like this, just get rid of it all. You probably will eventually anyway.
If we find a boat here, great! But we're most likely going to doing the east coast and possibly overseas as well...We will see!

Was anything happening with this? If so me and my lil one can head down and sleep on the boat tonight and stop by the show tomorrow.

2017-09-30 18:36:53 +0000 UTCOh also, I expect that you'll be vlogging the experience and in my opinion no trip to the Long Beach area would be complete without getting lunch at the berth 55 fish market. While there's tons of places that will make you the most perfectly prepared food and lobster for the better part of a C note, the food at berth 55 is super good for normal people prices. And it's a place with decent enough local heritage (I mean it's no Wlilly Ts, (good rest it's soul) but what do you want from Wilmington?) and it's just a cool spot.
