We're looking good!
Added 2017-02-27 23:28:22 +0000 UTCWe got the fuel issue sorted out. The truth is our tank wasn't too bad but the fuel was. While at a marina (that we do not recommend for many reasons) in North Palm Beach we got fuel from a truck. There wasn't fuel at the marina, they had a marine fuel truck delivery service. Basically a fuel truck that comes around the docks. He was filling out a yacht and Jeremiah asked him if he'd fill us up. There it went! A tank full of growth floating in the bottom.
The only way to help that would be to filter it all, which we may do. OR fill our fuel cans up, view the fuel and then fill the tank. What a bummer!
Oh well! Now we're onto the next step this week! Rhys has a doctor check up this week so we need to wait for that before we leave so we're going to plumb in the watermaker! It's been siting here pickled and we're excited about using it!
The repair costs were about $469....$189 for the new filter housing, the fuel polish was $280. Yippee! :(

2017-02-28 14:01:10 +0000 UTCUse a glass jar to sample all fuel before you take it on. And sample in the middle of the fill. When you sample let it set for a couple of min so if it has water it will settle out.
