Ok that was fun. We spent all day furthering our Hurricane Matthew prep. This time we're expecting much more intensity than the previous storm. So we removed the mainsail, the wind generator, solar panels and bimini. We also stopped by the sailor exchange in St Augustine to pick up 4 more fenders and two more lines. They are NOT a good place to shop when a storm is approaching. More about that when we put the video together. So we have 8 fenders and 11 lines holding and protecting the boat. The boat is completely full from everything being stowed down below. This picture is from our nanny cam. That's the mainsail in the middle lol. Under that is a sea of items. We don't plan to stay on the boat for this storm. It looks like it might be kind of gnarly and with Rhys, we want to play it safe. So, off to stay with family for a few days. We can't wait to get back to normal boat life! Come on November!!
