Character Preview: Marie and Mimi

A double release is on its way! I originally started just making Mimi, the girl in white, and was planning on releasing her. Originally, she had purple hair! You might still be able to see the remnant of that from the purple highlights on her bangs. Marie also originally had red hair, but after giving them their contrasting black and white outfits, I knew I had to change their haircuts to match! I quite like how starkly different they are, something I hope also comes through on their facial designs as well. I was thinking perhaps I may make an idol group based on Mimi's outfit, but eventually decided to just keep making Marie with her own dress and standalone design. Perhaps sometime in the future I will continue rounding out her group, but for now these two are the ones coming out!

As you might expect, Mimi is a somewhat reserved and shy girl who puts on an outgoing facade for her job, something which tires her endlessly and often has her considering retirement. Despite the effort it takes though, it's a job she loves due to all the adoring fans and following she's garnered. On top of that, she's actually quite bad at hiding her actual self, though she doesn't know it. She believes her persona is well established among her fans, however in reality everyone knows it's just a facade and a big portion of her appeal is watching her clumsily try to appear put together and outgoing.

Marie, on the other hand, has no issue exuding an air of confidence. For her, being assertive and proud comes as naturally to her as breathing. Yet somehow, she doesn't lack any amount of cuteness or charm that might otherwise be lost when carrying oneself with such posture. A complete package, combining cute, sexy, mature and confident charms, she's definitely someone you don't want to miss out on!
