Baritanya

Their travels greatly tax them, however; they must recuperate on a sphere for many years before they can again move on. Many who alight upon sha-Arthan choose to remain there, employing their powerful abilities (such as sorcery) to lord it over lesser beings, including Men.

The travel does take a long time – and it's an arduous journey. Not all baritanya survive it. Think of it a little like the migration of monarch butterflies. As to their motivations and intentions, these vary from individual to individual. These are the dragon equivalents of the setting and my intention is that each one is unique, both in terms of abilities and goals. The full write-up of the creature will include random tables to assist the referee in establishing both.
