Hello, this is going to be a big update. So I'll try to keep it as short as possible.
I've got two topics to talk about. First is the animation with Eve. I started it a few days back 4 or 5 if I'm not mistaken. I've almost finished it, I've rendered the main animation, might have to re-render a small part. All that's left is to create and bake the physics and then render the last part, the render will only take half a day (7-8 hours). I believe I'll have it ready in 2 days max. It's really good, trust me. So, that's out of the way.
Moving on to the main problem or inconvenience if you will. Some of you might remember that last year I moved to a new city. Well my yearly contract comes to an end and I was about to renew it but the owner wants to sell the property so, I'll have to find a place to rent. The good thing is that she informed me a month in advance. So I packed most of my furniture and send them back home. I kept only the essentials. Why you ask, "If you're gonna rent another place don't you need furniture?". Well my stuff were a bit big and not the right size. Stay with me, there is a quite good explanation behind this. My plan was to renovate an old space that I own close to the city center during this summer, it has nothing inside (no electricity, water, bathroom, etc) imagine a rectangular box and a wall socket a broken sink and a toilet seat, that's it. The planning with the constructor/designer took longer and we actually finished it a few days ago. That means that I'll have to take my stuff and find a place to stay for 3-4 months until the renovation is complete. The problem is that most owners or property agencies rent with 1 or 2 years contracts (plus I'll have to create a yearly contract on the electricity company, the internet provider is 2 years contract but you can move it from one place to another with a small fee). My next option is airbnb, that includes everything, but damn, that's expensive. 2,5 months on airbnb is a year of rent with all of the above, plus it's fully furnished so I can't place my few things there (especially the desk with the workstation). So, I got to find someone willing to do a reduced contract. Even 6 months will be perfect.
With all the moving out and in again, and all the work with the renovation and then moving again, I might delay sometimes. I'll try to make simpler animations if I see that time is an issue. I won't be away, I'll keep on working, but some delays may occur from time to time. I'm, really, so sorry for the inconvenience.
Anyway, tomorrow, while the simulation and the render is running, I'll start looking out for a place to rent. Wish me luck. Love yaa! ❤️
