2025-08-08 10:10:24 +0000 UTCPaul Newman was a VERY famous handsome movie star back in the day, he also part owned an Indycar racing team called Newman-Haas, which I was commissioned to do some work for. I had to produce a 3D rendering of his racecar for use in a childrens cancer charity auction in New York. It was an auction for motor racing artworks made with all different media, such as water colours, oil-painting, sketch, etc. et. Mine I guess was the computer graphics entry. All were auctioned off. I asked for his autograph as that would have been amazing to have and his manager agreed. But unfortunately, Mr Newman passed away before I got it. :( My claim to fame I guess, along with doing 3D render work for Subaru World Rally Team for 2 years.
