I did have a drink and a chat with Maisie Williams once but didn't know who she was at the time which I think she found quite refreshing.

His very early stuff like "Ted and Ralph" sketches for The Fast Show could be heart warming at the same time as unsettling and funny. All his stuff, no matter how odd it got, seemed to have heart. I agree with the other comments about his stuff with Chris Morris on Brass Eye.

2025-03-06 14:40:05 +0000 UTCArthur's stuff with Chris Morris was truly great. After watching Mandy acclimatize to Peep Show over the years she seems ready for their stuff. King Boomer needed a lot longer to be able to get into it for reactions though. Maybe not Jam yet, I'm not sure anything aside from a decade of heavy psychedelic use and a congenital mental illness can prepare you for that, but the rest of it.

Arthur Mathews has done a few things, he started on The Day Today, which only has 7 episodes but is a legendary show that has influenced so many show that follow it. He did Brass Eye and Jam, quite a few sketch shows and most recently he did Toast of London and Toast of Tinsel town

I've never really understood why you would either, if someone falls for me, I'd like it to actually be me they fell for. Of course then I have to question their judgement :) EDIT: Of course here with Father Ted you've got to consider that Catholic priests are supposed to be celibate and aren't allowed to marry
