The Kidney is kept in very good condition so returning it is the same as putting it into a recipient. Returning it to the doner would probably eliminate the risk of rejection.

Also, Queenie was waiting for Blackadder to return with more Polo mints, so the real Blackadder from that time period would have ended up getting killed for not bringing any π
