I'm with you on that. Tasks and contestants aside what I really like about series 1 is the set. It feels alot cozier because of the shadowy set, the contestsnts chairs being closer together and closer to Alex and Greg. Also the audience felt a lot more involved because they were also a lot closer to the stage. The post Dave years have been very hit and miss with me. 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 are all pretty great. 11, 13, 15, 17 were all OK. Let us know if you need a source for series 13 with ad breaks. I could chuck em in a drive for you.

Many moons ago when I had the opportunity to work in New York I looked at a potential apartment, it looked large in the photos, but then I checked the actual dimensions. I could've literally spread my arms out and touched both walls! Guessing Victoria's monster was easy I think, as she was clever to do it with her feet and not the voice and I think only she would come up with that idea. Haha, rumbled. I only managed to make out two words doing that though :) WTH was 'florid'?? :) Epiglottis is a part of the throat. Its the flap that stops food and liquid going into your lungs as you swallow. Gift baskets? We do like, fruit baskets and stuff for people who are really sick (ie hospitalized), but I've never heard of anything else like it here in the Netherlands. Personally, I just like the other person to tell me what they actually want (like a wishlist or something), and I'll just get that. Thankfully, most people I know agree with that method, lol. You're also insane with taking a pill, lol. Pill on the tongue, take a sip of water and you're done. You don't taste it, unless you let it sit for ages to melt, lol. As for the episode, this live task is my favourite of all time, it's so fantastic. Also, Series 13 next? NO WAY!

I have no idea what a "gift basket" may be (other than, from context, a collection of gifts in a basket?) @ UK. Also, I prefer my beer to taste of beer. Dunno what pills you been popping, but I can't remember ever tasting a pill. And tell the people who chew a pill (which is not intended to be chewed) to stop. Many pills are coated so that they survive your stomach acid and dissolve in the intestines, where the active ingredients can pass into the blood. Destroy the coating, and the stomach acid may destroy much of the active ingredient. It must be said, and I apologise in advance, but... Alan's dowry was more Dairy than Dowry...

I've been stopping the video every ten minutes to add another comment I know, but another thing, it is common in Southern Africa for the groom to give his father in law ten cows as dowry in exchange for his daughter's hand in marriage. The concept of gift baskets has existed in all the countries I have lived (Scotland, Germany, South Africa), but they are not that common. Common enough that people know they exist but not very prevalent in normal life I guess. I'm not sure if they always did this back when it was on Dave, but on Channel Four what they do is show a trailer for the next season revealing the new cast, after the final episode, but you still have to wait months for actual series (and also sometimes they just reveal the cast for the new years special if thats what is coming next). With the water task i think the hardest part is the thinking about it. You can just drink normally and satisfy the task as Desiree did, but if you think too much about it it can be difficult. I tried it myself and for me, trying to swallow deliberately with my mouth open was the difficult part.
