This whole pregnancy was Sophie's doing, hand-holding is right-out. For somebody that was conned into it Mark is being a tampon. I get that he wants to be part of the kid's life but c'mon Mark lol grow a set.

Oh yeah it's very much a "If I have to choose" they are utterly indefensible. I've been thinking about this this evening. A person who thinks like Mark in real life would only ever hurt himself as his neuroses would never be tolerated or encouraged by those around him in the first place. He would either learn to relax and co-exist with people or would more likely just end up bitter and completely alone. Either way because of this his behaviour would never end up spiraling and hurting other people unlike what happens in the show. Whereas I think all of us know a superficially charming selfish asshole like Jez the destruction he causes is much more real world possible. Anyhoo sorry for that stream of consciousness Mandy. I hope life is going well for you and you find your new place soon. Thanks for everything and take care.

You’re probably ok with Pepsi or tea. I can do the small cans of energy drink, I just can’t do the big cans any more. I’m also trying to stop Pepsi/coke, mainly because the artificial sweeteners are really bad for you, as is the sugar version obviously. I use an organic sweetener for tea (stevia drops) so that I can avoid sugar AND chemical sweetener.

Interesting! So I do have a minor caffeine addiction and have quit multiple times (which means go through a week of hell until the need dies down) but always started up again in smaller doses because apprently Caffeine and ADHD are 🤝🏻 and caffeine helps people with ADHD focus. I could not function properly without it even after several weeks, so just decided to self medicate with a can of pepsi or tea daily 🤣. When I say I have had a lot it is more than a can or tea. 🤪

You're gonna have a killer of a withdrawal headache when that caffeine wears off. 🤪 I did after my flight yesterday (reels on insta). I'd need caffeine for being in Mark's position. No man ever knows what to do in that situation, I wouldn't. I'd just make sure I'd be there. Yes our ambulances are a bright greeny yellow with alternating squares of highly reflective dark green and bright green "Battenburg" (check board) squares on the side. The brighter green is the colour of high Vis vests (a wave length of around 560nm 🤓) to make it visible and blue lights. All our emergency services generally have blue lights (expect some specialists) and the Battenburg designs on the side.

"Sister's Office". A "Sister" ("Ward Sister") is a higher ranking nurse who has responsibility for the day-to-day management of a ward or other unit in a Hospital. Nowt to do with religion - tho I assume the name has historial religious origins. A "Monkey" is £500, so the half-monkey he paid Super Hans was £250 - which might be reasonable for a real plumber/gas fitter, depending on the work needed, but definitely too much to pay some random mate of Super Hans! Useless and hopeless as the two guys are, I would add Sophie to your list of unreliable people that the baby has to look forward to... Still, on the plus side: there was minimal water damage!

I'm with Mark on this one. I was also in exactly the same situation, I did not want to be in that room for the birth, and I wasn't supposed to be, but her parents couldn't get there in time. I also had the worst hangover of my life as I'd decided wetting the baby's head was best done before having to take care of a baby. Don't attend a birth hungover. Actually just don't attend a birth :)
