The sense of taste is linked to your sense of smell so if you lose it or it's affected in some way, you either can't taste anything or what you taste is completely changed. A few years ago I had a nasal condition that affected my sense of smell. While I had it everyday foods/tastes that I loved tasted completely different. Mint for example suddenly tasted like vomit.

Like you said the zoom in on their mouths is just gross. Also the mountain task is just weird to me. Anyways, every other episode is fantastic A++. Also it was Morgana who made the groaning sound. That's why the camera went to her lol. Also I think Alex called Alan - Albert because that is a fairly old fashioned name and Alan is the oldie of this series.

The mountain one was funny :) Victoria totally bossed the taste test one and then made up for that in the final task :) I was only just watching 'Cake or death' yesterday... well the whole Dressed To Kill actually. I hate egg white but couldn't tell that I was eating raw egg at all. If memory serves I thought it tasted of custard (I think that's vanilla pudding to you) That's all I've got though, half an anecdote. But I can confirm. Love the way you say "Ferrero Rocher" 😇 Any tips for a westerner struggling to roll their Rs Like a good word to practice with? Also, why you so dismissive, maybe the shark was just on his holiday? I can imagine if you lived at the bottom of the ocean the best place to take a vacay is the mountains.

2024-09-03 14:42:50 +0000 UTCHappy to help, but at risk of deflating you again I have to inform you that I couldn't find that late 1970s panel show where team captains Geoffrey Hayes and Garth Hunt look at a tobacco box and try to guess which celebrity it belongs to based on the tobacco and other items within it. In later series, they would also have non-smoking celebrities as the mystery guest. In those cases they would look at their sewing box, coin tin or kit bag etc. instead. In fact, the type of receptacle would often be an additional clue to the identity of the celebrity guest. The presenter, Fred Dinenage (series 1 only) or Bernie Winters would then chat to the celebrity about their smoking habits (series 1 only) and their life. There would be two games and therefore two celebrities per episode. Or indeed anything like it.... Sorry.
