Well really, it's Bucket Richard Ayoade - it's from The IT Crowd, the episode is called "Smoke and Mirrors". It's about a bra, mistaken identity, the Iraq war and entrepreneurship.

Steve Coogan is a Brirish actor/comedian who played the role of Alan Partridge in his own TV Series. He also played Stan Laurel in the Laurel and Hardy biopic Stan and Ollie.
Very funny man.

He's currently 64, which does make him the oldest contestant they've had so far

I will forget by the time I get to season 16 but wouldn't he be quite old now? Or maybe not... I have no idea how old he is in this clip or when this was filmed ๐

I wouldn't worry about the height similarity between you and Ronnie, as pointed out with Julian Clary - most English comedians have a 'thing' and it always makes them fair game to joke about it because they usually build their career on it themselves. For Julian it was double entendres, for Tim Vine it's puns, Ronnie Corbett it's jokes about his height, for Rob Brydon it's his impressions (which are fantastic but the joke it always about how bad they are), for David Mitchell it's angry logic and pedantism.
In our culture if you got popular and made a career out of something specific you're allowed to be teased by people for it. As Simon Amstel once said to Preston from the Ordinary Boys "What? You don't get to go on Big Brother and get away with it."

I didn't do too good on this one too. I lost count of what my scoring was.
For the 'This is my' round, I went for Ronnie's bunker friend. haha. Worth a shot.
Ronnie Corbett is a totally icon in the UK. On the 2 Ronnies shows, he was known for his armchair monologues. They were funny and didn't always have a burst-out-laughing kinda punchline, but always entertaining to listen to. Maybe watch one yourself and then see if it's something you'd like to react to.
Rob Bryden does do a great impersonation of Ronnie.
For more of that and others, do a YouTube search for "rob brydon steve coogan impressions"
The one I mean is 17m46s (Random Impressions from the channel Count Grassi). They kinda face off with each other. Probably not for reacting to, I dunno :)

1:10 Rob Brydon said: Julian Clary is "always on the lookout for a double entendre (sexual pun) so I'm going to bend over backwards not to give him one"
Julian Clary is to sexual innuendo as Tim Vine is to the pun. (Especially the gay sexual innuendo, as he was at his height of fame in the late 80s). That's why everything he says is taken as something risque "I shot up when I was 15" - 'shot up' could mean to inject drugs or (rude warning) male orgasm up something. So sorry.
Also when he says he's the voice of laminate flooring and Lee Mack says 'doesn't all your flooring have to be laminated' he was intimating there would be a lot of bodily fluids around Julian. Whenever Julian talks everyone immediately starts thinking of sexual innuendos and puns because that's what has always been associated with him.
13:00 'ASDA shuttlebus' is a small bus that takes and drops people off at the ASDA supermarket. They are very similar to the 'Dial-a-Rides' Karl Pilkington talks about when mentioning Scruffy Sandra. Just a minibus that goes around all the local estates endlessly and bored housewives would meet on them and just watch the world go by while having a gossip.
((Just realised once again that the Scruffy Sandra / Dial-a-Ride sketch hasn't happened yet for you in the podcasts, it will come up in s3 e8. So think of the ASDA shuttlebus when he explains lol. Think of them as like schoolbuses for taking people to a supermarket or to town centres.))

Love Ronnie Corbett, a legend of UK comedy!
He was OBE (Order of the British Empire) when this was filmed. He was later awarded the higher CBE honour (Commander of the Order of the British Empire). These are give for contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service (thanks to Wikipedia for the summary!)
