I've obviously not let ham reach that stage before π€·ββοΈ When I leave a half eaten pack of ham open in the fridge, the exposed parts of the ham go dry, that's far gone enough for me! Ham does get left out and dry cured somehow though, and it tastes delicious! The Italians love it π€

Haha! Actually when meat (including ham) goes bad it gets slimey π«£π

Hi Mandy!
6:03 βSomething scary in the kitchen?β If youβve ever had to reach inside to unclog a waste disposal unit with your bare hands, that feels so wrong, itβs not natural, and kinda scary if you let your imagination run wild π¬ and leave the electricity on so anyone could press the switch π
16:54 her ham looked so fine, it had a moist freshness about it! Surely the first stage of ham gone-offness, left out in the sun, is it dehydrates like youβve dry cured it, no?
To guess the phrase βDavid Hat-and-a-braβ without knowing what you were aiming for π bonus points!
42:30 Mandy: βBollocks is swearing?β Yeah, itβs vulgar slang for testicles, about as rude as using the word cock. Or in another sense, you can use it to call out peopleβs bullshit, βthatβs bollocksβ, thatβs nonsense. Still, at least as rude as the word bullshit in this sense.
Yep, some cricket terminology π
1:01:43 Mandy: βYou guys are such a well behaved audience, you guys never interrupt anythingβ We can interrupt? Lol these timestamped comments are my way of interrupting π€ͺ
Thanks M!
G

Oh yeah Tim's headband. You made me look up that guy you said he looked like :)
Yes do that, check him out. He's a fascinating man and his documentaries have me hooked every time. I remember on an episode he did called The Web Spinners, he showed footage of a spider caught it's prey by putting one strand of 'webbage' in front of itself and tying it onto a twig, then it would walk backwards, stretching it. Then when it was stretched enough, another strand out of the back and tied that onto another twig so now it was held in place.
As soon as the prey crossed in front of it's path, the spider swept a leg back to 'cut the rope' behind him and it sprang forward on the stretched strand and caught the prey. I mean you have to see this stuff to believe it, but I dunno if you could watch that. :)

Mandy.... not heard of Sir David Attenborough? He's one of my hero's and an absolute national treasure in the UK. He's 97 now. This man is a freaking legend. I have a personalised autograph from him which I treasure. Amongst his many accolades, he brought the worlds best natural history documentaries to the BBC. Some were even about insects and they show you how incredible and amazing these creatures are.
But mainly about other animals (or plants). Go, hunt some David Attenborough stuff, I guarantee you will not regret it. I have all of his DVD's and books.
A tiny, tiny, tiny, look into his work...

and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGxcw1tbjkE
I could go on and on about this remarkable man.
For you to react to some of his stuff would be pretty cool (but it's BBC so... yeah).
Another one to check.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tvA3Ezqjl8
Yes I'm fan-boying :)
Anyway... great episode. Russell's egg drop was... well the yolk's on him. :)
I also picked Tim for the title phrase, but nope.

HAHAHA! Well in Greg's defence, Alice did say something like "Is there anything scarier (than slightly off ham)?"

Looks like they stepped up their game after last episode. And really, Greg is such a bully, you look wonderful as usual, don't take any notice of him, he's just a big poo poo head. And I thought his response to the 'deadly' ham was strange. It's not as scary as being attacked by a bear??? In your kitchen!!? Greg must live in a national park or something. Other than that, good stuff. Yay Mandy. π

Next week we can see in the Patreon credits how many members we have. It's going to be a lot of fun.
