Ok, so I really love tigers, but at a zoo they are quite boring (sleeping all day). The last time I went to the zoo, a billion years ago, the animal I enjoyed the most were the giraffes! They are SO PRETTY!

Random question of the day: if you were to go to a zoo which animal would you be looking forward to seeing the most?

OMG!! It must feel so awful to break someone's arm. I couldn't imagine.😖 Also I have no ability whatsoever to distinguish what accent is from where 😅😅😅

Hey Mandy,
I haven’t watched much of Joe’s standup, don’t remember him in a sling - can’t have seen it!
Here’s the obligatory, feel free to skip 😁
3:20 Sally: “I’ve brought in a papier mache cat” Did you tune in to his dialled up Birmingham accent there?
5:35 A petit filous is just a brand of yoghurt for children
5:38 Amanda Holden - one of the current Britain’s Got Talent judges
7:35 Mandy: “Can’t legally say the name of a little artisan shop, but he can drop chain names, how does that work? What the hell are the laws…” Maybe it’s just because Starbucks couldn’t give a monkeys what Joe Lycett says about them, but with his Birmingham sway, he could sink the artisan coffee shop business when he said he’s boycotting them, then they might come after him! He can say what he likes at the end of the day. He has a show called “Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back” where he explains and resolves consumer issues viewers have raised. I imagine he’s had to deal with a few disgruntled companies, so has had plenty of legal advice about where to draw the line, and the cost-benefit tradeoffs of stepping over it 🤷♂️ 😆
I’ve only broken bones on one occasion in my life too! Hmm, knowing you, I’d skip to the TLDR if you’d rather not know the grizzly details… I was playing basketball in middle school, maybe 13-14 years old, and I was fighting for control of the ball, it was practically mine, as I had both arms firmly wrapped around it, and was trying to shake his hands off, when he caught his arm between the ball and my own arms bear hugging it, and with one final shake, his wedged lower arm got levered against the ball which broke both bones in his lower arm. I’ll never forget the image, it created an extra joint 🥴 I had no repercussions, because well, it was just an unfortunate circumstance, it wasn’t a foul play in particular.
TLDR: I broke someone else's arm playing basketball. I was mortified, was speechless for several minutes, well into the rest of the day, and earned the nickname arm-breaker Morgan off the gym teacher for the next few years.
Let me give myself a round of applause for that 👏 👏 👏 I was only a child, after all.
Ok, I’ll try skydiving once, to see if it’s for me 😁
Have a great rest of your day
G 👏 👏 👏
