Just wanted to chip in, the shopping cart in the river around 17:48 is most likely a reference to Season 2 when Richard Osman flung his trolley into the river. Take care and stay amazing

I'd catch up on Taskmaster first, at least to Season 12, or there'll be too many insider references to explain. Season 2 hasn't been confirmed yet, and it has a 6.8 imdb score, so it wasn't a roaring hit, but does develop the Taskmasters assistant character and it'll feel satisfyingly familiar to you.

Good services establish a "Direct Debit" agreement with your bank which allows them to transfer the monthly payments. You can cancel the direct debit online via your banking app, so you can cut those payments off at the source and wait for a call from customer service begging you to reconsider. I'm sure some of these magazine subscription services are owned by misc parent companies who manage hundreds of different subscription services, and delegate all their admin to 3rd party goofballs, and they make things so difficult to find in the small print, sometimes you need your subscription number, and I'll be damned if I can find it, because they sent it to you one time in an email/letter years ago at the start of the subscription, and nobody can look up your info, and then it takes persistence waiting on the phone to get something cancelled, but I've never had a request denied. Some other sneaky practices are either locking you into a full year and charge cancellation fees, or especially with gyms, making you give several months notice before the cancellation goes through. Or rolling contracts that extend indefinitely past the agreed duration, even though you should be given notice of this change. I've never had a subscription service ignore my request! ๐ง There might be laws against that here

I can see you weren't completely on board with Noel's camouflage...but it's very in-character for him to do something like this. If you watch either The Mighty Boosh or even the first season of Luxury Comedy, which are 2 of his shows, it would give you more insight into his random nature. At 44:30 I was like "Oh yeah, dis gonna be a storytime. That's a Mandy points-at-us-through-the-camera story pose!!" Love it! (Hey, I could start shipping down some fresh Canadian snow. Might help with the heat? :P)
