The QED conference was a blast! I'm currently still travelling in Europe with rather limited internet access. I'll be back home on the 23rd to tell you more about it.
The great news is: it seems like I'll be able to publish the official taping of my presentation at QED on the Captain Disillusion channel! So if nobody minds, this shall be the episode for the month of October. It's 50 minutes long. Yay!
Meanwhile, here's the funny (in a British way) conference intro video in which I also participated. Co-starring Paul Zenon, Richard Wiseman and Michael Marshall. Written and directed by Matthew White.

It's been an amazing, hilarious presentation at QEDcon, and together with the intro video it was a wonderful start into this conference. Looking forward to watch it again!

2016-10-19 22:11:25 +0000 UTCGosh, Paul Zenon; that's going back some. More than 20 years to be precise when he was on TV when I was a kid. It's been so long I had to look it up to remind me what he was doing on the telly! In the early 90s he did a few magic themed shows that I do remember enjoying. Wow, I mean I remember NOW. It really has been so long I'd completely forgotten about them. There's hardly any footage to be found on YouTube either, sadly. Loved the video guys, really came out well. Some insider jokes and I don't know who that other guy is, but I think that was half the point anyway!
