Suck It Weekly, Volume 34 (New YouTube Schedule, No Poll This Week)

Before We Get To The New YouTube Schedule (for those of you that weren't in the 100K Fireside Chat), our regularly scheduled updates:

-THANK YOU FOR 100K SUBSCRIBERS!!! Didn't get to official say it in the last newsletter cuz I went to bed with it still 99,992 or something & didn't wanna jinx it, but we both wanna thank all of you for helping us get to this milestone, whether you've been with us since the Oasis days or came aboard recently from Father Ted or Inbetweeners we love & appreciate every single one of you. And thanks to everyone who hung out in our 100K Fireside Chat on Saturday too, was loads of fun. Daniel had a blast down here in NC, took him to see his first NASCAR Race on Saturday night & to a local brewery yesterday, now he's back home in Maryland safe :) (For those of you about to ask, no we've not put in for a Plaque yet, stay tuned)

-PEEP SHOW, IT CROWD, & FRED DIBNAH: S3E5 of Peep Show, S2E5 of The IT Crowd, and Episode 10 of Fred Dibnah's Made In Britain are all a go for this week.

-MOVIE OF THE WEEK: We weren't able to get to it last week due to the 100K Celebration, but this week's movie will be "HIGHLANDER" apologies for the delay on the movie, things will be easier once Daniel's son goes back to school. 

-DOC OF THE WEEK: While it's not exactly a documentary, our next learnin' vid will be "WHEN BRITAIN NUKED AMERICA TWICE" and apologies for including 'Fred Dibnah - A Year Without Fred" we didn't realize it wasn't a documentary, we'll remove it in the next documentary poll.

-SPORT OF THE WEEK: Will be chosen in a poll coming up in one hour for those of you on our SPORTY EMBRACER Tier

NEW YOUTUBE UPLOAD SCHEDULE: Starting Tuesday, September 5th once we've completely jail-breaked Father Ted and have completed Fred Dibnah's Made In Britain, our YouTube upload schedule will look like this: 

JANUARY: 6 uploads a week, No Sundays (No upload New Years Day)

FEBRUARY: 6 uploads a week, No Sundays

MARCH: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays

(No uploads on Good Friday or Easter Monday wherever they fall in March & April)

APRIL: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays

MAY: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays (No uploads the Friday or Monday of Memorial Day weekend)

JUNE: 3 uploads a week, only Monday, Wednesday, & Friday

JULY: 3 uploads a week, only Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (No uploads the week of July 4th)

AUGUST: 4 uploads a week, No Wednesdays, Saturdays, or Sundays

SEPTEMBER: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays  (No uploads the Friday or Monday of Labor Day weekend)

OCTOBER: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays

NOVEMBER: 5 uploads a week, No Saturdays or Sundays (No Uploads on American Election Day or American Thanksgiving)

DECEMBER: 3 uploads a week, only Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (Flops Special/Festivus Airing Of Grievances December 23rd, Christmas Special either December 24th or 25th, no uploads 26th-30th, End Of Year Compilation New Years Eve)

REASONING (We Won't Bother With This On YouTube when we announce it there):

1. WE'RE TIRED: We've been grinding day-in and day-out for over 2.5 years to be sure we don't go dark on YouTube in order to get to the 100K Subscriber goal as fast as possible. In fact in the beginning we feared that if we went dark for even one day, our views would tank & people would unsubscribe, but that has been proven wrong multiple times, most recently when I took a break from editing & uploading last month for a few days, y'all came back. Thanks for not going away :) This reduction in uploads on YT will help us achieve a work/life balance

2. WE WANT TO FOCUS ON PATREON: With the reduction of YT uploads we'll be able to focus on Patreon more. In the past Patreon was an afterthought, just a way to upload videos that we aren't able to upload to YouTube, hence our neglection to properly tag all the series we have on here (*cough cough* SEARCH BAR *cough cough*). But as we speak, Dan & I are discussing an re-structure to this Patreon so we can deliver more consistent & better quality content that is more encompassing of the tastes of our community old and new. We'll have an idea of what this new re-structure will look like by the end of this month, but rest assured the Patreon Schedule Will Remain Consistent Throughout The Year No Matter What The YT Schedule Looks Like.

3. WE HAVE THINGS WE WANT TO DO OUTSIDE OF ETS21: I know this might come off as extremely privileged, but I'd love to devote more time to my Original Music & Live Gigs (including but not limited to more NO GIG NO PROBLEM Livestreams) on my MUSIC CHANNEL, pursing Sim Racing, Go-Karting, & Race Track Vlogs on my MOTORSPORTS CHANNEL, and Food & Travel videos on my LIFESTYLE CHANNEL however most of my time has been consumed with editing videos for ETS21. Daniel would like to be able to spend more time with his Wife & Son as well as grow as a Podcaster once he's gone through every musician in the world between ARIAS AND THE NATION & UNPLUGGED NATION (LIVE) as well as pursue a couple other endeavors that I'll let him talk about once he's ready to. We're grateful that this channel has given us a new lease on life, and it's time to enjoy some of the fruits of our labor. For those who have already come over to our other channels, THANK YOU!

4. ADSENSE TRENDS: Our specific amount of uploads per month reflect the trends of when Google Adsense pays YouTubers more or less. Adsense pays more in Summertime and around the Holidays so we'll have less uploads then, and both January & February don't pay as much so we'll have more uploads then. 

5. REACTION CHANNELS ARE RISKY: This is more a follow-up to point #3 but it needs to be said. It's no secret that Reaction Channels as a whole play a dangerous game of reacting to content that IS NOT THEIR OWN. All it takes is for the owner of the original content to claim a video you posted & have YouTube issue a Copyright Strike, and if that happens 3 times your channel will be deleted and all of the hard work you put into the channel is gone in an instant. While we've been able to skirt Copyright Issues so far, the incident with Brad & Lex & The Eagles was a sobering reminder to the YouTube Reaction Community that it could happen to anybody at any time. This is one of the main reasons we're stepping back to focus on ORIGINAL CONTENT on our own individual channels that aren't tied to ETS21 directly.
