Sorry for multiple comments, but also have to state what all British 60s pop and rock stars mention, when talking about their formative careers, how they were heavily influenced by African-American popular music of the decades before them and 1950s Rock N' Roll, which includes Elvis. For instance Keith Richards is a huge Chuck Berry fan and The Pink Floyd are named after two American blues musicians.

When you complete your GCSEs at 16 if your grades are good enough you can choose to go to college or at some schools stay on to do A-Levels but it isn't compulsory. You can go and get a job or an apprenticeship if you want. Jay got that wrong.
