Amazing player, I'm Welsh so enjoyed watching him play for our national team, a controversial figure though, he had an affair with his sister-in-law for 8 years and she even had an abortion during that period, and he's just been cleared of domestic abuse charges against an ex-partner, actually it's not unusual (Brits will get that joke!) for Welsh internationals to to court controversy, remember that match you watched where Wrexham beat Arsenal in the FA Cup? Well Mickey Thomas who scored the amazing free kick also had an affair and he was caught in the act by the husband and a friend who stabbed him in the backside with a screwdriver 15 times, he was also involved with laundering counterfeit money and spent 18 months in prison, I know several weeks ago he was telling my brother (he's from our small village) that he was hoping to come to the US this week to commentate on the Wrexham pre-season friendlies, but he was unsure if he'd be allowed with his criminal record, I haven't heard if he was able to go or not.

2023-06-28 11:28:07 +0000 UTCWhen he scores with the ball over the goalkeeper and then it drops, it’s called lobbing or chipping the goalie in Liverpool, not sure if there’s any other terms, nutmegging is shortened to megsed him! He was a top player, even though he played for United!🙂
