I remember watching this as a teen when it first came out and loved it. When I saw the title "movie reaction time bandits" was really excited. Movie has not aged well - struggling to watch to the end - not a reflection on you guys - the movie is poor

2023-06-22 20:44:07 +0000 UTCI'm a fantasy film obsessive but I think I missed out on Time Bandits because it came out too early for me to see as a kid and I don't ever remember it being on TV. I didn't watch it until I was 30. I love the Pythonesque humour but it felt a bit clunky. "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" on the other hand is an absolute work of genius. Felt like Gilliam had really got his director's chops on for that one and I know he pretty much bankrupted the studio, which you can tell with how phenomenal it looked. It's bloody hilarious too.
