I thought that only came later, but I very well could be remembering it wrong

2023-06-21 07:03:51 +0000 UTCIt started with the trans episode in the IT Crowd though, he got a lot of flak for that

2023-06-20 18:59:13 +0000 UTCI know it cracks me up, it was a great series and I haven't seen anyone react to it yet, 'Teachers' is another one I love which you never see being reacted to.

2023-06-20 17:15:06 +0000 UTCHis cameo in I'm Alan Partridge and Garth Marenghi's Dark Place were also classics. Was it that that got him cancelled? He wrote a couple of shows, one for the BBC, after this. All pretty highly rated. I thought him backing up JK Rowling's allegedly transphobic comments was the thing that got him cancelled?

2023-06-20 13:27:21 +0000 UTCBasically stole the 'every girl wants a bastard' scenario from Only Fools and Horses - even his look when he meets her! Only fools and horses handled it way better, obviously.

2023-06-18 20:47:19 +0000 UTCI mean Paul McCartney and George Harrison were huge fans of Classical music and used a lot of it to inspire their music - which in turn inspired your beloved Oasis chaps. So you might not think classical music has much relevance in the mainstream anymore, but actually almost all modern western music can be traced to classical music. And then you got your movie scores, that’s all classical music… I would’ve thought a learned musician like Spencer would respect classical music, considering it’s what his idols based their music from.

2023-06-16 20:38:31 +0000 UTCI am man of widely varied tastes when it comes to music: I have been at a thrash metal show and seen a few operas as well. Well lucky you said about Classical music not being your thing guys, as I was on verge of asking what Dan's connection to opera was with the title of his channel being "Arias and the nation" with an Aria being equivalent to a solo in an opera.

2023-06-16 17:42:54 +0000 UTCBit harsh on the Classical music. Some of it is great.

2023-06-16 14:09:27 +0000 UTCI back this idea but I think episodes of shows should be excluded, it should be like one-off videos

2023-06-16 13:10:18 +0000 UTCBut then people would want more of the show if a show was picked and it probably wouldn't happen any time soon and be forgotten. Or potential clips of shows they could watch thatll spoil stuff . It'd be ok with a lot of fine print on the request

2023-06-16 12:56:15 +0000 UTCand im well aware of how lonely it is.

2023-06-16 12:12:09 +0000 UTCI stand corrected. Green Wing is hilarious anyway. It's so stupid.

2023-06-16 11:23:01 +0000 UTCYou guys should do monthly competition where you put all your Patreons names in a hat and choose one, then the winner gets to chose something for you to watch, not a film, something with a 30 min limit, could be the first episode of a show, a music video or any random YouTube compilation etc.

2023-06-16 11:19:37 +0000 UTCScrubs predates Green Wing, I love Green Wing and and would love to see a reaction to it, but Scrubs was funny too, apart from it being annoyingly sanctimonious at times, but that was a common trait in US sitcoms and dramas at the time.

2023-06-16 11:13:56 +0000 UTCOne fun thing about the show is Graham Linehan the writer/director likes to make cameo appearances, he was one of the singers in the restaurant, one less fun thing about the series as a whole is it basically ended his career and got him cancelled, it's up there amongst my favourite series of all time.
Mark Jones
2023-06-16 11:08:45 +0000 UTCIt's such a perfect programme. So many new characters coming in you'll love. I think, because you enjoy the absurdity of this, you'd really love Green Wing. I don't think I've ever seen anyone react to it either. It's hilarious. The US did their own version of it, Scrubs, which wasn't even a quarter as funny.

2023-06-16 10:45:04 +0000 UTCI can't wait for you guys to meet Richmond. One of the best characters ever created.
