2023-04-20 04:50:18 +0000 UTCThe famous patrons were some politicians of the day (think this dates from the late 70s/ early 80s at a guess) - William Whitelaw, Geoffrey Howe and Dennis Healey. Mrs Hairy Whitemouse π€£π€£ is referring to Mary Whitehouse, who was a prominent campaigner to clean up TV and radio - if there was anything slightly raunchy or sexy or a bit contoversial on the tv or radio she'd be complaining about it! She wanted to spoil everyone's fun π€£π€£. Ronnie Barker was a comedy leg end as they say ππ
