There was also the welsh comedy series satellite city, which had a lot of the same actors as this film, the guys who played dai rhys as well as the vicar and a few others were in it.

Saving this reaction to watch later.
Not seen this movie as an adult. I had a bad case of insomnia since early childhood - This was one of those crazy movies I watched in the early hours, and then came to school the next day telling all my friends the crazy shit I'd seen, lol.
Barely remember any of this movie, but I know it was a mad one.

It was actually the BBC remake of Robin Hood I was thinking of, I knew it was one of those medieval series.

I think to be fair to Keith he's best known for being part of the Comedy Store generation of comedians and being in many of the Comic Strip Presents.... films, I grew up enjoying him in those films, didn't even know he'd ever been in Merlin

The guy who plays the farmer who eats the magic mushroom hotdog is keith allen, known for being in merlin and father of lily, also the rich guy in blur's "country house" video. His brother kevin was the director.

Won't have time to sit down and watch the full reaction for a few days, but glad to see you react to this one, had a flick through though, such a funny film in it's own peculiar way, like England though the Welsh accent varies a lot and this accent is very specific to SE Wales, we have a completely different accent up in NW Wales where I live. I'd love to see you react to a much older Welsh film called GRANDSLAM about a bunch of rugby fans going to Paris to watch Wales play France in the 5 nations, it's a timeless classic.

And to answer daniel's question rhys ifans was in both kevin and perry go large and 51st state. he was also the undertaker in the oasis video "the importance of being idle". He's also a rock star having fronted the super furry animals during their early days and later on the peth.

If you go to HMV in Swansea, they literally have a stand that’s just dedicated to ‘Twin Town’.

Great reaction again, check our football factory, it's a hooligan film with comedy aspects.

Great reaction boys. I really thought you were going to struggle with Twin Town because of the strong Welsh accents but you were amazing.
I think Twin Town is a prime example of dark British humour. I was wetting myself laughing watching along with you and you both either looked concerned or confused by the same scene.
So many quotable lines in this film too that we would say to eachother for years after seeing it. I still use "Amblamance"🤣 It's just a little, cult gem of a film.
Oh and glue sniffing was an epidemic problem in the UK particularly in the 80's.

Everytime I walk through the area where the hot dog van scene is filmed I think of this movie 😂 great reaction (especially considering there’s so many jokes / topics so specific to Welsh culture)
