Jam and Jerusalem is a brilliant gentle comedy series with the woman who plays Mrs. Doyle as a regular character. Also David Mitchell is in there as well and Miriam Margolyes with a brief but memorable cameo part. Wonderful feel good entertainment.

2023-03-17 09:28:53 +0000 UTCI suddenly realised you should be watching The Commitments as your film this week for St Patrick's Day 🤦🏻♀️ The music Father Jack stands up to is "La Marseillaise", the French National Anthem, which is why everyone laughed. Yes you can leave the priesthood although it's obviously frowned upon.
