The only reason it was made by channel 4 is that's who the writers pitched it to. An of course they said yes. It's a myth or urban legend that an Irish company didn't want it.

Watched your Blackadder Christmas Carol reaction earlier because I knew it would cheer me up and just enjoyed this reaction too, despite the subject matter. Don't even remember this episode of Father Ted, even though I taped them all off the telly to watch and rewatch (like Blackadder, Bottom, Young Ones, Red Dwarf, etc) Favourite moment of yours was when Daniel said his piece and accidentally predicted exactly what would happen next, plus his reaction when you restarted. I love what you do, cheers for sharing guys, keep it up!
