Very cool you got to see him perform such a personal song in person!! Must of been very memorable

Kyle Percival

Oh wow...this documentary sounds like a must!! Thanks for sharing how much this song still effects you! Much love

Everything SUGA does resonates with us so far. We love him more and more with every video we see. I love hearing your interpretation of the video and your outlook on life itself. Thanks!

Kyle Percival

I agree with you. I feel we look for an outside force to try to solve our problems far to often. As much as we have the power to address these things on our own, that's why community is so important.

Kyle Percival

Thanks for sharing that information!! We will use that video for our reaction

Bookish theory has really good insight on many BTS music videos

I love this song, and I agree with your thoughtful insightful analysis. I think my main take away from this song is that we, humans, are empowered to save ourselves. I think we often don't realize our power and allow ourselves to be trapped in darkness.

This is such a beautiful song, I’m so glad it resonated with you both. The fact that the mental scar manifests itself into physical form, and that it’s self-inflicted, is so meaningful to me and I think almost everyone can relate to that in some way. To me, it represents a darker side of yourself that you want to keep hidden because showing that vulnerability can be terrifying. At the end, I think he’s showing that while scars can be caused by outside forces that are out of your control, it’s important to acknowledge that those scars exist and try your best to heal yourself. Even so, he’s unable to open the door. Your amygdala acts as a defense mechanism, so those scars will always exist. But you can put in the effort to heal them and make them not stand out so starkly if that makes sense! Thank you for your reaction!💜

I love Amygdala , i saw this video a thousands times and it makes me cry every single Time, cause it remembers me trough how much pain and struggles yoongi has to go in the past. But on the last day of his D-Day tour he walks trough the Door with a smile to show us he overcome his past , he is healed now (correct me Army if im wrong). maybe you should watch the Documentary of suga its called Road to D-Day available on Disney+ its absolute Amaziing

Suga himself had recommend watching the trilogy in release order, but I felt it was necessary to let you know that it was a prequel since without the knowledge of the deeper lore/message it can be a bit confusing It was such a privilege to get to see him perform this song live in NY back in 2023 - he's a wonderful performer & really makes you feel all the emotions of the song 💜He's my ultimate bias for a reason!

Alana you are beautiful inside and out. I relate to everything you've said. I felt your heart and know I am not alone. This song is a healing song for me. Min Yoongi is a comfort person I never knew I needed until I fell into the BTS rabbit whole. Also knowing that he releases music as part if therapy gives me hope to face my own inner shadows and know that he's walking beside me through his songs
