This is a very popular area for hiking and running! The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Sugarloaf is a challenging but rewarding hike with great signage and fantastic views. The parking lot at the trailhead has ample space. There are washroom facilities before you head on your way. The main trail is a steady ascent with some steep sections. There is also some light scrambling if you choose to summit. Enjoy the woods and keep an eye out for wildlife.
