You must remember to differentiate freedom from self-indulgence" is a lyric we will never forget from this performance! Plus, did YouTubers just get called out? We love the beats behind his words in this song so much! We hope you enjoy this reaction to part two of Agust D's trilogy!
Amygdala is the prequel to the other two songs. It's the part of the brain that holds memories and regulates emotion. In that song you will learn about some of the (real life) hardships he has faced. When the MV came out there was no warning placed beforehand and, for me, the reaction was intense. I cried and cried. No artist had ever expressed in song how I felt dealing with my own journey of healing. It was cathartic to watch him heal himself. Somehow knowing that none of us are alone on that journey gave me even more healing. Just a warning, it's a pretty intense one, but in a different way than the other two.

I love your anaysis of the songs. You're nailing it. Also, note that Haegeum also means freedom from what is banned. Great that you caught that the scar not being there is him healing from the trauma.

Amygdala is a part of the brain that primarily deals with fear/trauma response - without giving any spoilers the next mv is technically a prequel to the other 2 mvs, so something to keep in mind when u watch

Hey Sarah! We are planning on doing explanation videos for all three videos after we finish them and try to interpret them ourselves first!

I hope you will watch the explanation videos for this trilogy. DKDKTV has an AMAZING one for Daechwita, and the channel Bookish Theories have really good ones for Haegum and the trilogy as a whole. I truly think it will blow your minds how deep Yoongi goes, which is a huge part of getting to know him and gaining appreciation for his insane level of talent. Another recommendation is his solo songs first love, seesaw and Nevermind π
Canβt wait for more Suga, Jimin and BTS content, and for you to get around to the other 5 members as well in time π

Heageum has two meanings. One is the traditional Korean instrument that is used in the song. If you see the live performance you will see it. Second it is a lifting of a ban.
