You can use the patches to upgrade any version beginning with 0.7.17a1 to version 0.7.18r2, just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use a patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.

But, i think it would be possible to add some side content, for when we wait for the story to happen (the: Wait a few day; quest line.....), and this side-content would be Etherwalking to the Known Plane/Realm, to enjoy a Date or something like that.... For example going to Dun Eidean to walk in the street, look at the Vistas of Yona's World, going to the beach in Naomi's World..... Hell, we can go to Earth to enjoy the Shops, the restaurant, and other things..... (talking about shopping, made me think of something, it is possible to have Cosplay/Outfit change in the Game??? Like changing between their original clothes, the "House's Clothes", other clothes gained/bought on Earth, or other Realm/Worlds....)
