0.7 Development Update 14

Hey, folks! Another dev update before the Alpha for 0.7.9 hits!

First, a little opinion poll. How do you feel about me linking to the MEGA folder with all the options for the latest version instead of the individual links? The same way I link to the GoFile folder now for an alternative download location.

I'll archive the alphas and betas (still leave them available just in case, but in a separate folder), and the latest builds of every version will be visible in the folder. Much easier for us to keep track of it and you folks are much less likely to download an outdated version. A bit less convenient when you just want to click a single link.

The Dream Date Diary artbook with all the bonus stuff will be sent out soon! Probably this coming week, but could be a week after, depending on when we get a few last bits of bonus content done. And if you're still waiting for the updated version of the Date with Rae February special, I'm really sorry, just a few more days. This mini-game is cursed, it's been in the "almost done" state for more than two months now. I think there's literally one last bit left to do, we should be able to finish it this week.

A little tidbit, I just checked the stats, and there are 19k new words in update v0.7.8! This could very well be a new record, but I'll have to check. I have a feeling there was an update with 20k+ words, but if there was one, it was a long, long time ago. If you haven't played it yet - grab the Early Access version here: https://rift.ink/4e3JM3c 

For once, I'm almost happy with the amount of content we managed to put into a single monthly update. May was a bit of a crazy month all around with the artbook special and other anniversary-related stuff. But it's June now, so it's time for some new craziness! 

v0.7.9

Alpha with two of Cait's new events is coming on Tuesday most likely. You'll get to meet her friends again, sort out some stuff with Eurydice, and try to help her convince the others to join Cait for a spot of crime. For crime is, as we all know, the secret ingredient. 

Then the new alchemical mini-game with the three bonus animations should be ready for Beta, and then we'll see how much we can fit into the Early Access version.
