r2-r3 is mostly script edits (typos etc). It's a completely optional download.

PC PATCH (from 0.7.5a1 and later): HI-RES - COMPRESSED
You can use the patches to upgrade any version beginning with 0.7.5a1 to version 0.7.6r3, just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).
To use a patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.

I just redownloaded the files from the sources and I don't see any issue with them. If you can, please try disabling the defender and then uploading the file to virustotal. I can only see one false positive from Zillya, but I have not experience with this AV

2024-04-21 08:12:33 +0000 UTCI just downloaded ahitr_comp_0.7.5_to_0.7.6r3 .exe and the Windows Defender identifies this as Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.B!ml - even if I would trust it, it gets instantly removed.
